    • COOLING FAN MODULE – Remove & Replace – V8
    • Diagnosis: A/C Works Intermittently Ran vehicle for approx. 30 minutes w/ a/c on, symptom is currently not present. Vent temperature upon arrival reached down to 38*. Checked a/c system pressures, as follows: Static (Not running) = 80 Psi Running = High Side: 110/150 Low Side: 22/46 (Okay) Scanned systems for trouble codes, see printout. Trouble codes P0693 and P0694 stored for cooling fan circuit faults; cooling fan is currently operating as intended. Common symptoms associated with an inoperative cooling fan is high a/c system pressures, and subsequently poor a/c system cooling performance. Circuit integrity is not suspected based on intermittent conditions. Checked for related field reports and service bulletins, field reports indicate high failure rate of electric cooling fan. No related service bulletins found. Checked mechanical fan clutch operation, no hydraulic leaks observed and fluid tension feels adequate. No faults found. Electric cooling fan replacement recommended based on relevant symptom and related field reports, symptom is currently not present. Electric cooling fan appears original Inspection: Vehicle has suffered heavy rust conditions, repairs may require additional effort – Note Spare tire is missing – Note Fluids, filters, belt and hoses appear in good condition. 96K Service is quickly approaching, see printout.
