- Checked brake light operation, brake lights are working. (Brake switch needed for shifter control) Checked power and ground supply to J-Gate (shifter) module, both found present. Without factory Jaguar scan tool, module communication is unknown. Recommend replacement shifter assembly (J-Gate) prior to any further diagnosis – Published labor times not listed, est. 2.0 Hrs. Approved 4/29/21 Removed and installed shifter assembly (used part, customer provided). Shifter is now shifting out of park as intended, but Park Lock is not functioning (vehicle can be shifted out of park at any time). ((**Repair completed.))
