  • Diag: (Low Oil Pressure, Suspected Engine) Road tested vehicle and monitored on board oil pressure display, no obvious faults found. Slight engine tick heard during road test, not alarming. Scanned systems for trouble codes, see printout. Data has recently been cleared, data may be limited. Checked engine oil level and condition, level found centered between min and max, oil looks dark. Window sticker says oil service is overdue by 3k miles. Viewed live data for system oil pressure and compared to on board display, no discrepancies observed. Checked oil pressure readings at 1k, 2k, and 3k rpm; pressure readings are within specs. Suspected intermittent failure of oil pressure sensor/sending unit, no failures captured during this visit.
